Dr. Payton Allen , Optometrist

Dr. Peyton Allen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019 with a BSA in biology and a minor in psychology. He left UT and entered optometry school to pursue his passion for eyecare, earning his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2023. While in optometry school, he completed one of his fourth year rotations at Signature Eye Care and joined the practice full time after graduation. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Texas Optometric Association. He is currently licensed to practice Therapeutic Optometry in Texas, is certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, and is also certified to fit CRT and MiSight lenses which can be used to slow the progression of nearsightedness. Dr. Allen spends his free time with his wife, Aislinn, and their cat, Mr. Meowgi. He is originally from Spring, Texas, a suburb of Houston. He is a devout follower of Longhorn football and he enjoys lifting weights and all things sci-fi/fantasy.
