Dr. Joseph Jeskie
Optometrist
Dr. Joseph Jeskie was inspired to pursue eyecare by his father who is a practicing optometrist in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Joe graduated from Brigham Young University, cum laude, in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2019. He completed one of his 4th year internships at Signature Eye Care and considers himself very blessed and lucky to be a part of such a wonderful team.
As a young man, Dr. Jeskie served as a missionary for two years for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints among the beautiful people, cultures, and landscapes of the American Southwest. He then elected to complete a clinical rotation in Santa Fe, NM at the Indian Health Service hospital with a focus in ocular disease. Dr. Jeskie is currently licensed in Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Following graduation from optometry school Dr. Jeskie served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville, FL for four years. He has been married to his best friend Kenzie since 2014. She was born and raised in Cedar Park and is happy to be back home as they raise their two sons and grow their family.
When he is not wrestling with his boys, Dr. Jeskie loves watching sports, reading books (particularly fantasy written by Brandon Sanderson), and planning trips to National Parks, zoos, and Universal Studios Florida. He continues to serve our country in the Air Force Reserves.
