At our practice, we believe great eye care never stands still. The world of optometry is constantly evolving with new technology, new treatments, and better ways to care for our patients. That’s why continuing education is such an important part of what we do.
Recently, Dr. Lou had the opportunity to take six of our staff members to The Exchange – Vision Source’s annual meeting and educational event held this year in Nashville, Tennessee. The event welcomed nearly 4,000 doctors, staff members, and vendor partners as Vision Source celebrated 35 years of supporting independent optometry practices across the country.
This year’s conference focused on innovation, collaboration, and practice growth, while providing immersive educational experiences designed to help practices continue meeting the rapidly evolving needs of today’s patients.
For our team, attending The Exchange was about much more than traveling to Nashville. It was an opportunity to grow professionally, strengthen our teamwork, and bring back valuable knowledge that directly benefits our patients every day.
Throughout the event, our team participated in continuing education courses covering advancements in eye health, patient care, practice technology, and communication. These sessions allowed us to learn from industry leaders and stay current on the latest developments in optometry.
Of course, learning was only part of the experience. Nashville provided plenty of opportunities for our team to connect, laugh, and create memories together outside the classroom. Building stronger relationships as a team helps us work even better together back at the office -and that creates a more positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
